A few years ago, I read 'The Last Lecture' by Randy Pausch, who was a professor at Carnegie Mellon University before passing away from cancer. This book had a profound impact on me- I think of the many life lessons so eloquently depicted in his book all the time. One of the things he wrote about was 'winning the family lottery'. I feel that I have done this twice. My mom, dad and sister are the most loving, dedicated, smart and supportive people I've ever met. I thank my lucky stars everyday that I can call them family. I didn't think my family situation could get any better and then I met Forrest and his family. I knew I had won the lottery again!
NY is so beautiful! Below are some photos I took while I was spending time with my family and friends there :)
